March 2, 2008 – Following a competitive review in competition with some of the state’s most prominent PR firms, Christopherson & Co. was selected to continue to serve as the public relations contractor for the E-470 Public Highway Authority.

Christopherson has served continuously as the PR contractor for E-470 since 2002. It is the third time that Christopherson has won the contract to promote the tollway authority. Christopherson resigned the account in 2000 for a two-year period in order to handle public affairs for Valley Corridor Constructors, a consortium that was one of three contractors pursuing the TREX highway and light rail transportation project.

President Dan Christopherson says that his firm’s most outstanding accomplishment during its nearly 25-year history was its successful public relations and advertising three-county election campaign for a $10 per vehicle registration fee. The election victory enabled E-470 to break ground on the first segment of the highway.
